Networking Tip Of The Month
Social Networking at its Best
We’re all guilty of it. We come home from work,
turn on our laptops, put our feet up and find
the need to tell all of cyberspace the
interesting events our days are comprised of.
But are social networking sites like Twitter and
Facebook only good for ranting and raving about
our tiresome, hectic lives? Many would agree
that the answer is no, and according to
statistics 60% of Twitter users access it only
from the workplace. In many ways these sites
have become extremely beneficial and
cost-efficient for businesses worldwide.
Companies like WaWa are a perfect example for an
economical method of sales promotion as they
continue to offer their Facebook fans online
coupons and other rewards. From a different
view, after the crisis in Haiti, Twitter users
came together to spread the news of the
whereabouts of family and friends, while also
collecting donations online. So, perhaps these
sites could be a valuable medium for your
business. There’s only one way to find out.
